Savin provided construction management services for various schools within the City of Yonkers Public School District. The scope of work at Yonkers Middle/High School, Saunders Trades and Technical HS, and the Museum Middle School included several, large mechanical projects.

The Museum School project included the rehabilitation of the HVAC control systems, the removal of the existing electronic or pneumatic Automatic Temperature Control systems in their entirety, and the installation of new DDC Automatic Temperature Control systems. This project also included the refurbishment of all existing heating and ventilation units, HVAC units and fans and provided for the installation of new Variable Frequency Drives, (VFD’s), for all existing VAV supply and return fans.

Among the mechanical projects at Yonkers Middle/High School and Saunders Trades and Technical HS, was the rehabilitation of the HVAC systems, removal and replacement of a 940 tons unit at YMHS and a 500 tons unit at STTHS, removal of the existing chiller plants and cooling towers, supply and return piping, pumps fans and the installation of a new Automated Temperature Control system.
