Relying on
a paper-based system to organize and manage one's facilities is
cumbersome, outdated and often times, inaccurate. The complexities
of operating and maintaining facilities mandates the development
of a state of the art, user-friendly computer based facility management
system.
Electronic
floor plans that links graphic data to a client/server database
takes the responsibility of maintaining drawings out of the hands
of an outside architect and places it in the hands of the facility
manager. Synchronization between the database and the drawings
provides immediate updates to the database in a seamless fashion,
making it easy for facilities managers to keep the drawings up
to date themselves. Facilities managers are empowered with the
ability to build, manage, and update their facility drawings without
having to rely on an outside source.
JMOA will
perform CAD conversions of your existing floor plans integrating
historical data with the Aperture software system database. All
data will be integrated and a link will be provided to all CAD
files. Modifications made to the CAD files will be automatically
updated in the Aperture project file. Building floor plans and
all relevant data for that specific space can be easily accessed
and updated, and the accuracy of the space, personnel and assets
in that space can be easily verified.
Converting
existing blueprints into electronic floor plans provides the opportunity
for organizations to manage change more effectively and create
and "test" planning scenarios for future changes to
their facilities.
